Kerry's website posted a press release entitled: "The 2004 GOP Convention: Four Days Filled With Lies, Mischaracterizations, Distortions, And Half-Truths." Four of the lies and mischaracterizations were in McCain's speech.
At Outside The Beltway, James Joyner examines Kerry slanderous claims that the four statements from McCain's convention speech were not true. Joyner doesn't find any lies, mischaracterizations, distortions, or half-truths in McCains speech.
At Blogs for Bush, Matt Margolis posts that Kerry's press release is only a cut and paste job offering no rebuttal to the 143 items they call lies. Margolis aks if this is laziness or whether the Kerry campaign is unable to defend itself.
