In its first post-debate poll Zogby International finds President Bush maintains a 3 point lead in a three way race.
Likely Voters
Bush 46%
Kerry 43%
Nader 2.4%
The poll was conducted October 1-3 has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.1%.
Zogby's September 17-19 poll also found a 3% lead for President Bush.
Zogby says, "There is also no doubt that Ralph Nader is hurting Kerry." In a two way race President Bush has a 1% lead 46%-45%.
The poll contains good news for President Bush. 48% say that the country is on the right track compared to 43 in the September 17-19 poll, and 47% say the U.S. is on the wrong track compared to 50% in the September 17-19 poll. President Bush's job approval increased from 47% to 49%.
