From "Girlie Men'" To "Losers

More healing.

The Associated Press reports that California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger who has previously referred to California's Democratic legislators as "girlie men," today called leaders of California's majority party "losers:"

At a Thursday news conference, the Republican governor who branded Democrats "girlie men" during a budget fight last year was asked whether he would listen to tax-increase proposals from Senate President Pro Tem Don Perata or other Democratic leaders.

"Why would I listen to losers?" Schwarzenegger asked. "Let's be honest."

Schwarzenegger explained that he was referring not to Democrats themselves, but to their tax increase proposals. Right. I'm sure the Democrats understood exactly.

Tus 11/2 is proof of the accuracy of his statement. The lost the President, all but one Senate seats including the big one in SD, and as yet to be counted # of seats in the House. Just plain lost on all fronts. Why is telling the truth, some thing that a second grader can do the math on, bad?
