Agence France-Presse reports that California's Democratic Senator Barbara Boxer placed a 'hold' on the nomination of John Bolton as US ambassador to the United Nations.
In placing the hold on the nomination, Boxer is seeking to prevent the Bolton Nomination from reaching the Senate floor.
