Missing U.S. Soldier Rescued In Afghanistan

AsadabadCNN reports that a member of the U.S. special operations reconnaissance team missing in Afghanistan since Tuesday has been rescued.

The reconnaissance team called for reinforcements during a battle with insurgents on the ground.

A helicopter crashed Tuesday while bringing reinforcements to the team, killing all 16 aboard.

When U.S. forces arrived at the site of the chopper crash, the reconnaissance team was not there.

U.S. forces continue to search for the missing soldiers.
