Immigration Seen as National Security Threat
A Rasmussen Reports survey finds that 63% of American voters believe that "current immigration laws" are a threat to national security and 64% consider the laws a threat to the U.S. economy.
According to Rasmussen, there is no significant gender gap or racial divide on these questions. The only gap highlighted by the survey is that married Americans (67%) are more likely to see immigration as a national security threat than those who are not married (56%).
The survey of likely voters was conducted on September 14, 2005 and has a margin of error of +/- 4.5 percent.
Now if we could just agree on what to about it.
