Disregarding ian threats to begin enriching uranium, the International Atomic Energy Agency's (IAEA) approved a resolution requiring to be reported to the Security Council for failing to convince the agency its nuclear program was entirely peaceful:
According to Reuters, the vote highlighted a split between Western nations and s Russia, China and South Africa, about how to deal with 's nuclear program. The resolution passed with 22 votes for, one against and 12 abstentions.
's constant threats to start enriching uranium remind me of the demands of a spoiled child. I'm glad the IAEA took this action, but it is disappointing that the resolution contains no date for the referral to the Security Council. The ian mullocracy cannot be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons.
