The Stamford Advocate reports that schools in New Canaan, Westport and Wilton will be open on this holiday.
Ten years ago the Connecticut state legislature 10 years ago allowed each school to decide which holidays, other than those in December and January, to observe.
If schools choose to stay open, they must hold a nonreligious educational program to mark the holiday.

Perhaps the administrators need to make up for the time they lose following Robert Byrd's stupid "Constitution Day" law.
