Quieting rumors of his death, 's supreme leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, appears in good health.
On Monday, Khamenei addressed hundreds of citizens of Qom.
Just in case there was any doubt about 's position on U.N. sanctions and 's nuclear program, Khamenei tried to dispel that as well:
"The ian nation undoubtedly won't give up its (nuclear) rights," Khamenei told the crowd in a hoarse voice. "The officials of the Islamic republic don't have the right to give up the rights of the ian nation."
I don't know how many times ian leaders have to say it. The Mullocracy will not give up its nuclear ambitions voluntarily. Unfortunately the feeble sanctions imposed by the United Nations Security Council will not discourage the ian Mullahs from the pursuit of their nuclear program.
Military force should be the last resort in the international efforts to deter from acquiring nuclear weapons. There is no doubt that military action against 's nuclear facilities would be messy. But, as Senator John McCain put it:
There is only one thing worse than the United States exercising a military option and that is a nuclear-armed .
The ian mullocracy cannot be allowed to obtain nuclear weapons.
