Discovery at the Pad

Space Shuttle Discovery arrived at the launch pad this afternoon after traveling the slow 3.4-mile journey to the pad atop the crawler transporter.

Discovery and its seven astronaut crew are scheduled to launch October 23rd on the STS-120 mission to the International Space Station. The mission will deliver the Harmony module to the International Space Station.
