Let me begin by saying that I am voting for the troops not McCain because I often find McCain confusing. Further, I'm a 9/11 convert to Conservatism, not a country-club Republican so I have a few questions.

First:

"We must protect our borders."

Over the seven and a half years since 9/11/2001 why has McCain done everything he can to prevent a secure border? I never though 'securing the border' meant telling Americans who believe in law, order and border security to shut because they sound like xenophobic bigots, but then again I'm not McCain.

Second:

"Our goal must be to win the "hearts and minds" of the vast majority of moderate Muslims who do not want their future controlled by a minority of violent extremists. In this struggle, scholarships will be far more important than smart bombs."

So McCain's plan is to spend lots of money educating moderate Muslims on how to hate America in the very American universities where Americans are taught to hate America? That's some deep thought going on, then again, I'm not McCain.

Third:

"America must be a model citizen if we want others to look to us as a model. How we behave at home affects how we are perceived abroad."

How will McCain get Hollywood and MSM to discontinue their anti-American propaganda practice? Will he offer another McCain-Feingold yet again violating the 1st amendment? I can't stop free speech, then again, I'm not McCain.

Fourth:

"The risks of global warming have no borders. We and the other nations of the world must get serious about substantially reducing greenhouse gas emissions in the coming years or we will hand off a much-diminished world to our grandchildren. We need a successor to the Kyoto Treaty, a cap-and-trade system that delivers the necessary environmental impact in an economically responsible manner"

This is a real doosey. Perhaps McCain has been a bad stewart to the land however, I have not. Perhaps McCain believes the man-made global warming fraud, I do not. My queston is however, how does McCain represent small government when his is a huge proponent of imposing massive Collectivist tyranny? Cap and trade? you have got to be kidding me. Some may like Collectivism, probably why they like McCain.

PS Want to end maleria? Bring back DDT, after twenty years of research it appears that DDT is not the boogieman the eco-imperialists have led us to believe.

I love the troops however I am finding it almost impossible to vote for McCain. Further, I dislike the blackmail coming from his campaign.
