Gwen Ifill, the journalist who will "moderate" the only debate between the vice-presidential candidates has a new book coming out- around inauguration day. According to NPR's Juan Williams, the book - at first look - is favorable to Obama.
The book, is titled “The Breakthrough: Politics and Race in the Age of Obama.” On Amazon.com, the publisher offers this description of the book:
In THE BREAKTHROUGH, veteran journalist Gwen Ifill surveys the American political landscape, shedding new light on the impact of Barack Obama’s stunning presidential campaign and introducing the emerging young African American politicians forging a bold new path to political power.
NPR’s Juan Williams, a FOX News contributor, gets it right in the following video:
Unbelievable, the moderator of the V.P. debate has a financial interest in the outcome of the election - If Obama wins Ifill sells more books.
Iffil should step aside to avoid this more than apparent conflict of interest.
