I was surprised by Kerry's surge in the Zogby Tracking polls posted at RealClear Politics.
Suddenly no one knows what will happen on Monday. David Hogberg, at Cornfield Commentary, posts:
Back in December I bet that Gephardt would likely win. Had you asked even a few days ago who was going to win in Iowa, I would have said Dean. Today, it’s anybody’s guess. I’ll make a prediction on Monday, but not one with much confidence.
Steven Taylor, at PoliBlog, in the last Pre-Iowa Toast-O-Meter, disregards the polls and still predicts a Dean victory. In going against the polls, Steven relies on Harkins endorsement.
PoliPundit is likewise predicting a Dean Victory.
At the Command Post, Mike Van Winkle, of The Chicago Report, points out that because of the way the delegates are selected in the Iowa, Kerry's poll numbers may not mean much.
Matt, at Blackfive, predicts that Gephardt's union support will carry him to victory. Matt has also posted an excerpt from Time describing the caucus process.
