High school student Shauna Fleming, with the help of her classmates at Orange Lutheran High School, has organized a campaign to collect 1 million letters of appreciation for our troops.
The campaign is called "A Million Thanks."
According to the Associated Press we should show support regardless of how one feels about Iraq: "I believe we need to support our troops 110 percent, even if we don't agree having them over there," the 15-year-old freshman said. "We need to show them that we care for them and will support them no matter what."

"For a 15-year-old to do this is just wonderful," said Alice Wax, founder of the National Military Appreciation Month. "It's resonating across the nation, and she has already gathered so much support."
