The Associated Press reports that Kerry favors trying Osama bin Laden in U.S. courts:
Kerry is wrong on this. If he is ever captured, bin Laden should be tried by a military tribunal. Trying bin Laden in a U.S. court would be a real spectacle. One needs only to look at the silliness of the Zacarias Moussaoui proceedings to see what a bad idea it is to try bin laden in a U.S. court."I want him tried for murder in New York City, and in Virginia and in Pennsylvania," where planes hijacked by al-Qaida operatives crashed Sept. 11, 2001, Kerry said in his first interview as the Democratic presidential nominee.
I agree that it should be a Military Tribunal but that tribunal MUST be public.

Kerry is wrong,
Bin Laden should be tried in a military tribunal, as a prisoner of war or war criminal. Kerry wants to bring in all of John Edwards' fellow ambulance chasers, for their opportunity to defend Usama.
