ManchesterOnline reports that a protester dressed as Batman breached Buckingham Palace security and scaled the palace's front wall. The Queen was away at Balmoral in Scotland:
"We've got no members of the royal family in residence," a Palace spokeswoman said.UPDATE Ananova reports that the protestor was removed from his Batman perch after more than five hours by two police officers in a cherry picker. He was then led by officers into a police van. The protestor was able to breach security by using a ladder to climb the outer fence using a ladder and was helped by an accomplice dressed as Robin. Other protesters distracted the attention of police by climbing on the front gate. The protester, standing on a ledge to the right hand side of the main balcony at the front of the palace, unfurled a banner which read: "Super dads of fathers 4 justice."
Was Batman denied visitation rights to Robin? I thought he had custody?
