Green Bay quarterback Brett Favre will start his 200th consecutive game tonight when the Packers take on the St. Louis Rams. According to the Bismarck Tribune, that makes Favre arguably the toughest player in the NFL.
The next-longest streak by a quarterback was 116 straight games by Ron Jaworski. Indianapolis' Peyton Manning is second to Favre among active players with 93 straight games under his belt.
Green Bay News-Chronicle claims that Favre is the only player in the four major professional sports to start every game since Sept. 27, 1992, the date of Favre's starting debut against Pittsburgh.
Absolutely amazing!
