Poll Finds Rossi Would Win A Revote

The National Journal's morning briefing "Wakeup Call!" reports that a Strategic Vision poll shows that Republican Dino Rossi would defeat Governor Christine Gregoire in a revote:

Christine Gregoire 43%
Dino Rossi 51%
Undecided 6%

A majority of those polled believe that Rossi actually won the election and do not view the disputed King County ballots as legitimate:

Christine Gregoire 37%
Dino Rossi 53%

3. Regardless of who you voted for in November's gubernatorial election, do you view the disputed ballots in King County that gave Democrat Christine Gregoire her margin of victory as legitimate?

A majority of those polled also want a revote, but don't believe the courts will allow one:

Only Rossi comes out of this election kerfuffle with a favorable rating. Gregoire, and both the state Democratic and Republican parties polled unfavorably, indicating that Washington's voters are tired of the disputed election:

The poll of registered Washington voters was conducted January 24-26, 2005 and has a margin of error ±3 percent.

Had the military ballots not - "accidentally" - been sent out late so that most military got their ballots AFTER the election he would have won in Nov no mater how many bogus recounts were done.
