According to the Jerusalem Post, the Elaph Arab media website reports on Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, the head of the al-Qaida in Iraq terror group, may have been killed when eight terrorists blew themselves up in the northern Iraqi city of Mosul.
This must be taken with a large grain of salt until confirmed, but one can always hope.
UPDATE: At The Corner on National Review Online, Jonah Goldberg posts that even though Zarqawi's death has been reported many times before, this time there is reason to be optimistic that this time Zarqawi might actually be dead. Goldberg hopes that the fact that Jordanians turned on Zarqawi after the terror attacks on Jordanian hotels and the resulting renunciation of Zarqawi by his family and tribe, may have opened new avenues of intelligence about the evil doer's whereabouts.
UPDATE II: According to the Associated Press, it is "highly unlikely" that Zarqawi was killed:
Trent Duffy, a White House spokesman, said reports of al-Zarqawi's death were "highly unlikely and not credible."
if the pig - al-zarqawai is dead i hope that the devil is giving him his dues ,and pokeing his eye balls out while he is burning in hell with the rest of his group.
