Jack, a territorial tabby, chased a black bear up tree - twice.
Suzanne Giovanetti's husband saw a bear climb a tree on the edge of their back yard. Giovanetti thought Jack was simply looking up at the bear, but soon realized the much larger animal was afraid of the hissing cat.
After a while, the bear descended the tree, only to have Jack chase it up another tree.
You can't make this stuff up.
