NASA set September 6 as the new date to try and launch Space Shuttle Atlantis. Liftoff time is scheduled for 12:29 p.m. EDT.
On Tuesday, NASA decided to let the shuttle weather Ernesto at the launch pad and halted a rollback of Atlantis to the Vehicle Assembly Building. That proved to be a good decision with Atlantis suffered no damage from Ernesto.
