As it did in the August primary race, the New York Times endorsed the Democratic multi-millionaire and anti-war, Ned Lamont, over Connecticut's three term Senator and the 2000 Democratic vice presidential nominee Joe Lieberman.
After the paper's revelation of secret intelligence programs, the Times' endorsement of the Greenwich multi-millionaire and anti-war campaigner over the three-term Democratic Senator Lieberman is not as shocking as it once would have been.
