Massachusetts Senator John Kerry insists his so-called "botched joke," which many found to be demeaning of America's military, will not undermine a possible White House campaign in 2008.
"Not in the least," Kerry, the Democratic presidential nominee in 2004, said when asked if the furor over his comment had caused him to reconsider a 2008 race.
Kerry is wrong yet again. His demeaning of our troops will haunt Kerry in the 2008 campaign. Thousands of blogs will post videos like the two below, keeing the issue alive.
Appearing on "Fox News Sunday," Kerry said he had not yet made a decision whether to set up an exploratory committee.
Joining Biden, Huckabee, Pataki, and Romney, Kerry said he would decide early next year whether to run for president.
