Senator John McCain has less than $500,000 in his presidential campaign account:
Between Nov. 15 and Dec. 31, McCain (R-Ariz.) raised $660,000 and raided $1 million from his Senate reelection account to his presidential fund, but he spent more than $1.2 million.
McCain's leading adversaries are doing better. Giuliani raised more than $1.4 million, has about $1 million in the bank, and has another $2million left over from his aborted 2000 Senate race. Romney managed to raise more than $6 million in during a single January fund-raiser.
