Democratic presidential wannabees New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson and Connecticut Senator Chris Dodd have agreed to debate in Spanish.
Univision Communications Inc., the nation's largest Spanish-language broadcaster, invited Democratic candidates to a Spanish Language debate on September 9, and Republican candidates on September 16, at the University of Miami.
Richardson, who is fluent in Spanish, spent his early childhood in Mexico City. Dodd lived in the Dominican Republic while serving in the Peace Corps and is also fluent in Spanish. Simultaneous translation is to be provided to candidates and viewers.
Mr. Richardson has already lost the primary if anyone watched the debate on Tuesday night. He had no answers, and the answers he did have he couldn't back up. He can argue in vietnamese and it wont change a thing.
