Terrorist mastermind behind the 1991 terror attack on the World Trade Center claims he converted from Islam to Christianity.
Robert Hood, former warden of the Supermax prison where Yousef is being held isn't convinced:
Oh the apostasy.
"He's playing a game with someone. If he's doing that, he's doing it for the reaction ... He is the real deal." As a Muslim, Yousef prayed almost every hour, Hood says.
I also home that he is being genuine. otherwise it is just deception.

If true this is an answer to some of my prayers.
As one who's passionate about serving God and my country, I can't help speculating that "but for the grace of God there go I." What would I be like had I been born and indoctrinated in a place like Saudi Arabia or Gaza?
Another thought. If all the prayers for soldiers were answered would the war on terrorism end? What if God answered all the prayers for terrorists?

As a Christian, I honestly hope that he is sincere. Stranger things have happened!
As a general principle, I would like to encourage Christians to bring the Christian message to jails and prisons. I know that this is difficult to do and difficult even to think about, but even if a prisoner is sentenced to life in prison, embracing Christianity can make the prisoner's life worth living and give him a chance to set a positive example for other prisoners and even for the prison staff. We also need to do what we can to confront Muslim recruitment in prisons, which is particularly prevalent in the U.S.
