Reuters reports that those willing to back their political predictions with their money overwhelmingly bet Obama will defeat Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination.
Traders on the Intrade predictions market and the Iowa Electronic Markets give Obama a 70 percent chance of being the Democrats' presidential candidate in the November election.
On the Republican side, McCain is the overwhelming favorite to win the Republican presidential nomination, with Intrade traders giving him nearly a 95 percent chance of winning. Huckabee is given only about a 2.5 percent chance of winning.
Well on this one perhaps I could make some money then. I think the gamblers are wrong on Hillary. I am by no means a Hillary backer, John McCain for me, but she isn't dont yet.
She has an entire toolchest of tricks at her disposal. Perhaps an Al Gore endorsement? Perhaps a lawsuit to seat the delegates from Florida and Michigan (or a re-vote)? Once Huckabee drops out Republicans will start crossing over to maniupulate the Democrat primaries and vote for Hillary too.
My money is still on a dirty tricks win by Hillary
