Obama can't decide if he should praise or criticize President Reagan.
In an interview with Tampa Bay's Fox 13, Obama praised President Ronald Reagan:
Obama: "You know, I think that Ronald Reagan was delivering the right message at the right time. Because what had happened was I think the Democrats had gotten complacent, had gotten fat and happy. They thought you could get a government program to solve every problem. There wasn't much attention to how regulation might be choking business. And so Ronald Reagan came in and said we need to break out of the old ways of doing things and create a leaner, more effective government. That was the right message then."But at the CNN Democrat presidential debate, in Myrtle Beach, Obama said he has spent his entire life fighting Reagan's policies:
Obama: "I spent a lifetime fighting against Ronald Reagan's policies."You can watch the latest example of Obama's obfuscation in the following video:
This is one of the things I truly dislike about Obama he tries to be on both sides of everything.
Doing the research for this post I came across the video of the heated exchange between Hillary and Obama about what Obama had actually said about Ronald Reagan before the Myrtle Beach debate. The exchange is so entertaining that I posted it below for your enjoyment:
