Obama was the first president in decades not to attend the white-tie gathering of journalists and government officials during his first year in office. Perhaps Obama realizes he is not funny, even if he does laugh about the mess we are in.
According to the Associated Press, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi was also roasted. Someone impersonating the top House Democrat sang "Imperial Girl" to the tune of Madonna's "Material Girl."
