The debt ceiling debate isn't helping President Obama's approval ratings.
A CNN/ORC International Poll released Friday finds Obama's approval rating has dropped to 45%. That's down 11% in two months. According to the CNN poll, 54% now disapprove of Obama's performance. That ties the all-time high in CNN polling that Obama first reached just before last year's midterm elections.
Gallup's three-day rolling average Obama Job Approval for July 21-23 finds Obama's approval at 42% and his disapproval at 49%.
Rasmussen's Obama Presidential Approval Index rating for July 24 registered the highest level of strong disapproval since last November putting Obama back in the negative 20s:
